John Wood says:
Only by chance that I've come across this item on Harwell and the book on the village. My 2x great grandfather William Thomas Wood was the school Master at the school from 1861 until his death in 1894 . According to Kellys for 1891 his daughter Jane Wood had a boarding and day school. I'm sure Shire Hall will have details of any school records for the period but ,if any of locals have any older photos or info I'd be very pleased to hear from them . William's sister Martha ,married John Thomas Pryor the local grocer .
