The Harwell News is published at the beginning of alternate months, and distributed to all households in the Parish.
You can read them here as PDF files. The words are the same as the printed copy, but some are laid out in a single column to make them easier to read on a screen.
Copies of earlier Harwell News (going back to 1976) are available in our Archives.
Terms of Reference for the Editor, agreed by the Parish council in February 2010, can be found here.
Please submit items for inclusion in the Harwell News to . Deadline is usually the second to last weekend of the month before the publication month. You can check details for the next issue in the latest Harwell News on-line.
I have just discovered the Harwell News on line - I used to live in the Croft for many years and worked for Nightingale Architects in the Cherry Barns.
It is geat that I can now see what is happening in Harwell still as I miss it very much and can only come to visit a few times a year.
It is wonderful to keep up to date with my old home whdich I miss very much.
I now live in Cherry Willingham (a bit like Harwell is to Didcot), two miles from Lincoln where we have a wonderful cathedral.
My father is buried in Harwell cemetry and I visit the church when I come down for visits.
If anyone in Harwell wishes to contact me they can email me at
annetteedgar(at)btinternet.com
Perhaps we would twin as we have a small church here and the community is similar - we have the WI and Gardeners club here and are twinned with Le Grand Luce in France.
Best wishes to all my old friends in the Croft and the village.
