Harwell Bus Services
Improved bus service
Starting 2 June 2008, the bus service through the village dramatically improved, with buses to Didcot every 30 minutes, and an hourly, direct, and fast, service to Oxford.
This, X32, is non-stop between Didcot and Oxford (no wandering through all the villages), and takes only 38 minutes. Just as quick as using the Park and Ride, and probably cheaper, especially if you have a bus pass.
If you are catching a train at Didcot, the half hour service will increase the chance of connecting with your train, and there are even a few early evening buses. (from the station, every 30 mins until just after 2100)
Let people know about the service, and support it, or lose it.
As from the end of October 2008, the Sunday service goes through to Abingdon.
Starting 4 Jan 2010 the X36 also goes through Harwell. Didcot to Wantage in the mornings, and Wantage to Didcot in the afternoons.
The service from Oxford to Wantage has two buses each way, Monday to Friday, which go via Harwell Campus. These are labelled the 34. Timetable details are buried in the X30/31 details.
