Didcot & District CAB have recently appointed a new Manager, to manage both the Didcot and Wallingford Bureaux and an outreach at RAF Benson, Nicola Webb. Nicola has worked for CAB in the past as well as having extensive experience in the management of volunteers in the NHS and charity sector and frontline advice services.
Nicola said, ‘I am delighted to be back working for the CAB. The staff and volunteers have been really welcoming and I am excited about building on the excellent work already done here. CAB is a local service, staffed mainly by dedicated volunteers, making a real difference to people’s lives’
Eleanor Hards, Chair of the Trustee Board said, ‘I am sure that Nicola will be a great asset in helping us to develop the work of the Bureau.’
Nicola added, ‘We are always looking for volunteers, we have a variety of roles available, including advice and admin work, full training and support is provided. We are looking for people from a wide variety of backgrounds, no particular experience required.
The CAB offers free, impartial, independent and confidential advice on a range of issues including: welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment, and consumer.
