Remediation of the former Liquid Effluent Treatment Plant and Sewage Farm including the creation of temporary access roads and car parks, erection of temporary waste processing/storage buildings, installation of temporary portacabins, temporary diversion and subsequent reinstatement of Icknield Way PRoW, improvements to Eighth Street, engineering operations (excavation works involving removal of underground tanks, structures and contaminated soil), installation of additional security fencing, and restoration of the site including the creation of a sustainable urban drainage lagoon, as well as backfilling, reprofiling, landscaping, planting and other ancillary works.
