| PC Comments | The council has concerns that there is no plan showing both houses together on the plot from the front elevation (ie as seen from Reading Road), and that the scale of the proposed new buildings is a significant increase over the existing bungalow, and also asks that neighbours’ comments and concerns should be given full consideration, particularly those relating to the impact of the new houses on properties in the lower-lying Tyrells Close to the rear of the site. If the application is permitted by planners, sustainable building methods and materials should be used where possible. |
