Please can some additional pressure be applied to speed up the progress on the Harwell Bypass planned?
With the volume of traffic flowing through the village presently coupled with the fact that some of roads connecting GWP to Didcot Road, have now been opened, before long the village will be gridlocked.

Please note that the link for the contact form at the top of this page is not correct. I suggest you need a conversation with your web support people in order to update the html for the page.

Tim, thanks. I think it’s fixed, albeit temporarily. More changes needed, but I’ll try to keep it working. David (the web support person!).

I would have thought that if you intend to have information for people on the website that it would be of benefit for that information to be up to date? I have spoken to a Funeral Director this morning, who informs me that the Cementary fees are totally out of date.
If you need/want people to use the site effectively you need to keep it updated.

Thanks for feedback. We aim to keep it up-to-date. Will check status of cemetery fees. (David)

Until now no fees have been published on the website, on the basis that most people ask the clerk anyway. So rather than details being wrong, they have been absent. This year the PC approved a single document summarising all the fees it charges. This sheet is now on the policies and procedures page. (David)

The small rough walkway between the Orchard Way side of Westfield and the Gaveston Road side of Westfield is a popular short-cut and it gets very muddy and nearly unusable during wet weather . Would it be possible for some chippings or gravel to be laid down now in November, so that the path remains usable for the winter.

        Dear Mr Davies

The parish council has been trying to get something done about this for a good while but so far there has been minimal response from other authorities. The council is due to discuss this path again at its November meeting, after which an update will be available.

The other walkway nearby between The Styles and Orchard Way could also do with some improvement if possible?

            Dear Mr Dunphy

I’ve asked the grounds staff to have a look & report to the council.
