Harwell News back in print!
For some months Harwell Parish Council has been considering when to bring back a printed version of the Harwell News and this issue it hase decided to go ahead with a limited print run of 200 copies and place them at collection points around the village.
For this, the first printed issue since February 2020, copies are available for collection at the following venues:
- Bob’s Butcher
- The Harwellian
- St Matthew’s Church, in the porch
- Costa Coffee in Great Western Park (by the UTC)
Inside this edition there is a very brief questionnaire asking people if they would like to have access to a printed copy and whether they can collect it or need to have it delivered.
The council hopes that by being able to target the people who really want a paper copy, it can keep printing costs to a minimum and reduce the carbon footprint of the paper. Those who are happy to continue to receive a digital copy via this distribution list or to access it via the Parish Council website can continue to do so, and to enjoy a full colour version. As previously, the printed version will be mostly monochrome, apart from the front and rear covers.
Digital readers are invited to complete an online version of the questionnaire by following the link below. If you don’t want a paper copy, we’d still love to hear from you and we don’t need any personal details unless you would like to sign up for a delivered copy.
Help? There are controls at the bottom of each edition, with an option to display in full screen (recommended, especially on a phone), downloading as a PDF and printing are also options. Use the magnify buttons, a mouse wheel or, on a phone, a two finger gesture to zoom in and out, and use the mouse, or fingers, to drag the page to show what you need to see.
