Oxford Photographic Society’s ‘Favourite Images’ to go on display
A new exhibition by Members of the Oxford Photographic Society (OPS), one of the longest running photography societies in the country, opens in the Cloister Gallery of the Soldiers of Oxford Museum (SOFO) in Woodstock on Friday 14th February. The exhibition features 50 of the society members’ “Favourite Images” which will be on display until Sunday 15 March.
Images on display cover a wide variety of genres from travel, wildlife and street to the more unexpected and obscure. It is hoped that the exhibition will inspire anyone with a camera or an iPhone to get out and take more photos.
“We are really excited to be holding our annual exhibition in this wonderful space – members of OPS range from complete beginners to experienced and professional photographers and this is a great showcase for the diversity of their work”, Ivor Porter, OPS Chairman.
Soldiers of Oxfordshire Museum is open Tuesdays to Fridays 1am to 5pm, on Saturdays from 11am to 5pm, and Sundays 2pm to 5pm. Standard admission is £4.50 including entry to all exhibitions.
